Great for battery life in the air, January 9, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Modular Bay Battery (Personal Computers) With my previous Fujitsu I had the modular bay battery and it gave me great battery life while on airplanes so when I bought my new Fujitsu T900 I ordered this immediately. It did not disappoint. Works just like my old one giving good battery life for long flights. With both batteries installed and the power saving features on I can get 4+ hours or work or entertainment. With my old one when I was home and my computer was in the port replicator I sometimes had to pull out the battery and pop in the DVD/CD drive (when I need to install software from disk for example). Popping them in and out is a breeze (10 seconds without turning off laptop) but since i had the CD drive packed in my briefcase for emergencies it was a small hassle. This time I bought an external stand up CD/DVD writer that is connected to port replicator by USB and that means I NEVER have to pull the drive bay battery.
