A new 45-watt hour battery should have about a 4200 mah charge. That's what I got, and I am satisfied. It fit my 2008-era 13" Macbook aluminum unibody just fine.

It lasts about 2-2.5 hrs running internet, med/high screen brightness, using the HD heavily for pictures. It could be a little better, but then again for the price ($88) it is a very fair purchase. Apple charges a 50% markup for the same product basically because battery vendors are difficult to trust. But my seller (Pacific Electronics) has a good reputation on Amazon, and my experience with them has been consistent with the reviews.
